Crafting. crafting uses crafting squares that u can get from any accessory merchant. 'light chaos' and another one. Each have a number of 'recipes', which need specific items. For some, the items are drops, for others the items must be 'crafted' beforehand. For the recipes written in the squares, the items must only be in your inventory, so when u right-click the square and select the recipe, all the 'crafting materials' needed are lit up.

Turning in at 20 shards gives u a lvl 5 craft lapis, 50 = lvl 6 lapis, and 100 = lvl 7 there are some intriguing lapis rewards: flash 2, horizon, and craft/shrewd/mystic triple lapis (which apparently have 2 stats slighty better than a dual 5, and add 400 hp too) More tips.
