Ct30 Thermostat Troubleshooting
So you’ve decided to install your new thermostat and discover that you have an unused wire but you do need a C wire connection. In this really short video you will learn how to connect an unused wire so it can be used as your C wire, which in a lot of cases has solved the problem of a thermostat not working.

I am having problems with getting a CT30 thermostat to work as I want. I feel I should disclose the distinct possibility that I do not fully understand the Climate control in Zway. Download kumpulan game ppsspp android.
When I set the Thermostat to Manual in Zway and control the Set Temp using just the interface on the thermostat itself, all works as expected. If I set Zway to control the thermostat the temp shown in 'Device Control'>Thermostats does not match what I put in the Climate Schedule. Further, it is showing the Temperature in Fahrenheit, even though the CT30 is showing Celsius and the Climate Schedule is set in Celsius. I put 20 degrees C in the Climate Schedule, but the Thermostat info says '67 grd F' for the Maintained Temp and '(20+47)' for the calculated temp. When in Automatic mode, if I try to adjust the temp up or down the display momentarily shows the correct information in red 25 and (20+5), but then quickly goes back to 67 and stays there. The Target Temp on the thermostat goes to 01.5 degrees when I try to make adjustments from Zway.

When watching the log file, I do not see anything odd. It reports that the temp changes have been set. Am I doing something wrong?
I roll mine up to 75 if we are gone for a long weekend during Cooling Season. Heating Season, it gets rolled down to 60. With the Cloudbeam iPhone app.
I can go in and take it out of hold or change the program back to my normal one. With my.cloudbeam.com. I have four programs that I can choose from. To give me choices in which I want to run. I also can pull the raw data for run time, etc. I hated the U-Snap that came with the unit, due to never worked right. So that is why I went with Cloudbeam, or as used to be known Our Home Spaces.
As for the Z module. You would need a unit in the house, that would act as a controller. You will run into issues with that you would either need a Static IP, or have to pay for a DNS IP site, to allow you to connect to the controller, if your ISP does not use Sticky Dynamic IP's. The CT-30 is considered a Base line unit. Very limited in features. With Zone Control, you will run into issues with the zone unit not being able to be controlled as you could do with the IAQ or Nest units (some panels may not work with the Nest). Same with the CT-30, that some Zone panels may not properly work with it.
For Z-wave I have the Vera already, and its running well so that is not an issue. For IP, the DHCP lease is for at least 6mos so my IP is pretty static. Vera also elliminates the IP problem but I also like the ability to ssh directly into the Vera and other things like linux server, etc.
